Three things for you to know (DELICIOUS PARTY SPOILERS)

Thing #1 (Delicious Party)

The Delicious Party teaser stuff is out!

So this confirms the coloring book leak to be true (even though we already knew it to be confirmed because of a silhouette leak) and deconfirms the hints about the balloon, candle, and party popper. With this, we get our first look at the Cures, especially the blue one, who was not shown in the coloring book leak!

Also, the Precure names of Musubi Iromi, Kara Yuuragi, and Hanon Otobi are also deconfirmed, and you'll see why:

  • The first Cure is Yui Nagomi, or Cure Precious. I'm surprised I got my prediction right about there being a pink Cure named Yui (this page was made like 15 minutes before the official reveal). I'm also surprised they went with the name Cure Precious because one of my own Cures uses the name. She is straightforward and energetic, gets hungry easily, and thinks food is smiles. She loves vegetables. She is based on rice and her partner is Kome-Kome.
  • The second Cure is Kokone Fuwa, or Cure Spicy. I thought her name was Kokomi for some reason and got hyped up over nothing. But she's the Cure who wasn't in the leaks. She has a Cure Mermaid vibe but I think she's very obviously not Cure Mermaid. She is known as the flower of Takamine (their city?) for being a cool beauty who loves fashion. She likes being alone. She's my favorite and has a chance of being my kin. She is based on bread and her partner is Pam-Pam.
  • The third Cure is Ran Hanamichi, or Cure Yum-Yum. Name goals. She shares the same name as one of my purple Cures, Ran Utatane (ignore that it still says Yamaguchi). I'm a little scared of people vandalizing her page because of Hanamichi, though. She loves food, especially rice, and can't stop talking about it. She even has an account on "CureSta" dedicated to it (no idea why it's called CureSta). She is based on ramen and her partner is Mem-Mem.
Other characters include Rosemary, a humanoid from the CooKingdom who was sent to find the Cures, Gentle, a villain who is possibly the sixth ranger (please don't be purple please don't be purple), and Takumi Shinada, Yui's childhood friend and most definitely the white suit guy in the poster.

Am I mad that there is no duo or quintet this time around? Not as much as you think.
Am I mad that there is a generic formation of pink, blue, and yellow? Meh. Only four or five series have it as their initial formation.
Who is my favorite? Kokone. She's giving me Haruka Kiritani vibes for some reason.

Since I'm graduating soon, I hope I find time to watch this series.

Thing #2 (Arc-En-Ciel)

Arc-En-Ciel Pretty Cure! is a series I never talked about on this blog before. I wanted to make an art series one day but I didn't know how to do it. But I found a way. Take this generic art Precure series, and add Spirit: Riding Free and Frankenstein, and you got this series concept.

The plot is: Four girls are in an art club. They all love horses. A cow fairy comes in tells them they have to because cowboys are coming to make the world dull. So they turn into horse-themed Cures.

But who are these Cures? Well, let's see.
  • The main Cure is Aya Saotome (五月女 あや), or Cure Peinture, whose theme color is pink x rainbow. a calm and cool seventh-grader. She likes painting because it makes her relaxed. She only went horseback riding once and it is her most vivid memory. Her Cure form is based on a Friesan horse.
  • The second Cure is named Kotoko Seto (瀬戸 ことこ), or Cure Eclat. She is an Erika-type character. She's hyperactive and says things on a whim. People usually think she cries wolf. Her Cure form is based on an Arabian horse.
  • The third Cure is named Hiyori Onodera (小野寺 ひより), or Cure Prairie. She was born in Kansas and her parents are Japanese. They moved to Japan to live with their family again. Hiyori herself always thinks of crazy ideas and is quite an exaggerator. Her Cure form is based on a Palamino horse.
  • The fourth Cure is named Yotsuba Hagino (萩野 よつば), or Cure Fleur. She seems calm about everything, even when she's doing something crazy. The blue Cure says she's never heard her scream before. Her Cure form is based on an Appaloosa horse.
  • The sixth ranger is Murasaki Amahane (天羽 むあさき), or Cure Pegasus. She is a centaur girl who Aya drew with a magic pen. She's confused about everything, constantly analyzing things to find logic in them. Her Cure form is based on a Mustang horse and a pegasus.

Thing #3 (Pastel Café)

Pastel Café is the other Precure series I've never talked about on here. But now I got ideas for it.

Here's the plot: Three girls run a café in the seemingly perfect town of Yumegahara (夢ヶ原). Well, seemingly perfect until the girls find out why they're running the cafe in the first place.
  • The main Cure is Kokomi Yumemi (夢見 ここみ),  or Cure Latte. She is a shy girl that is very kind.
  • The second Cure is Mizuki Kureha (呉羽 みずき), or Cure Mocha. She is also shy, but she's mean about it.
    • I made her name when I forgot Mizuki Rokuman existed lmao
  • The third Cure is Arata Arashi (嵐 灼), or Cure Machiatto. She is athletic and funny, but has a girly side, too.
  • The fourth Cure is Subaru Nanahoshi (七星 すばる), or Cure Frappe. Surprisingly, I only have 5 red Cure sixth rangers, which is more than canon but their Cures have a 1:4 ratio within all the sixth rangers. I think mine is a 1:10 ratio.
I don't drink coffee, so the Cure names were given at random by what sounded right.
