Woah

I was listening to some Love Live songs in a weird position and suddenly I was able to hear all the voices I couldn't hear in the original hearing (Kasumi and Emma in TOKIMEKI Runners. Kanan in Mattete Ai no Uta, Yoshiko in Aozora Jumping Heart, Eli in KiRa-KiRa Sensation) and it was CRAZY

I still hear Yammy in Yanny v Laurel though unfortunately it's not a win :(

Jiyuu! Pretty Cure

Sorry guys there was a centipede in my room so that's why I haven't typed too much.

So I thought of a dinosaur Pretty Cure series. I call it Jiyuu! Pretty Cure

Earth is on the brink of early extinction. The world is falling apart. Dinosaurs from the past life are being reborn with plans to terrorize humanity. The only hope for this dystopia is the girls destined to defeat these forces of evil by the Kingdom of New Earth. They sent a sole messenger, Rex, to find the Cures.

Aragaki Tamaki (荒垣 瑞喜)

Tamaki is an ecstatic girl who loves dinosaurs. She knows a lot about dinosaurs, except she wonders if they had to die. If it was destiny or if was just by random. She became a Pretty Cure to find that out for herself.

Her alter ego is Cure Apex (キュアエイペックス) and her theme color is red, making her the third red Cure to be the leader, after Hisao Takara and Sayo Esumi, and maybe Minako Haruka if you count her. She represents the tyrannosaurus rex.

Aragaki means wild fence, Tamaki means auspicious joy.

Tatsuzaki Hijiri (竜崎 聖)

Hijiri is a shy girl who loves science and biology. She wants what she does to be for the right cause and become a scientist to change the world. She became a Pretty Cure to save the world and its inhabitants from destruction.

Her alter ego is Cure *** and her theme color is blue. She represents the triceratops.

Tatzusaki means dragon cape, Hijiri means sacred.

Her name uses one of the characters in the word dinosaur, ryuu (竜).

Osoreda Nene (恐田 寧々)

Nene is a sarcastic girl who doesn't really care about many things and is pretty arrogant. She jokes around with her friends light-heartedly, but she actually cares about her friends a lot and would protect them at any cost.

Her alter ego is Cure *** and her theme color is green. She represents the velociraptor.

Osoreda means scary field, Nene means quiet. Her name is the only one that doesn't end with an i.

Her name uses one of the characters in the word dinosaur, kyou (恐).

Kokubunji Yuuki (国分寺 優希)

Yuuki is a caring girl from Kyoto. She became a new student when her parents were forced to work away from their hometown. She is an autistic girl who admires bugs. When she notices the villains are trying to kill Yuuka, Yuuki takes the attack instead. Due to this courage, Rex grants Yuuki the ability to become a Pretty Cure.

Her alter ego is Cure *** and her theme color is yellow, making her the fifth yellow Cure to be the sixth ranger, after Hikari Kujou, Ako Shirabe, Haruna Hanabusa, and Kairi Kaigara, and maybe Michiru Kiryuu and Mofurun if you count them. She represents the pterodactyl.

Kokubunji means national temple, Yuuki means superior hope. Her name has a pun inside it. It has the word "jiyuu", meaning freedom.

Tamaki, Hijiri, and Nene are the main team. They're seen as the weird kid group, but they want to prove the haters wrong. Yuuki joins in when the dinosaurs go after her sister since the villains want what she has.

Hijiri, Nene, and Yuuki's Cure forms are unknown.

A little scared

I've been way less active than I'm supposed to. I think I've been spending maybe a too much time with my family, and a too much time taking breaks.

I just bought some tarot cards, so hopefully they destine me to keep moving forward and do what's important. However, I need to sleep.

Wow so much users

So much new people at FoPC. Like a lot. I've been on FoPC since 2015 when I was 11 (though I said I was 16 at the time). I for a fact am one of the only editors that have been on FoPC for a really long time and still are, though I only became truly active in 2019. A lot of the editors on there today are from 2020-2021, which honestly shows how old I'm getting. And really, my brain only revolves around Precure and my schoolwork, so don't expect me to quit until like college or something, and I don't envy them for being young, quite the opposite, but it's weird.

This might be because of a pattern when new Precure series come out? Tropical-Rouge just came out, and it's on Crunchyroll along with Healin' Good, Kirakira and Futari wa, so there's a lot of content legally available (not enough tbh) but enough to get someone to watch Precure, with almost 200 episodes.

I can't recall seeing this pattern with Healin' Good, but I became active on FoPC a month before Star Twinkle started, and I saw a ton of people at the time with Star Twinkle-themed rights templates, so that's what I think.

Pretty Cure, Pure Emotion!

This is the transformation of the Happy Happy Precure girls. They have catchphrases too!

Mariko: Cutting a design, the cat's meow! Cure Glitter!

Misaki: A beautiful queen, a fighting machine! Cure Blaze!

Kaede: The pirouette of light, dance with me! Cure Twirl!

Junko: The wolf howls strong, Mother Nature's moon! Cure Terra!

Sayuri: Surfing the ocean, that's how I like it! Cure Seashell!

Probably gonna be the final phrases of the girls.

Sparkly Pretty Cure Rewrite

I'm gonna assume this blog is a safe place to put my ideas for Sparkly Precure.

If I put it all on the wiki I am wanting it to be on, then I think I'll be spoiling things for people. Since this post is not affiliated with FANDOM, I can put my Sparkly stuff here! On this page! So I copied most of this from my A ZU NA Land sandbox, which is technically private, but it's out there for everybody to see, but time went on, so I will add more things to it!

Introduction

I thought of something cool for a Sparkly Pretty Cure rewrite.

So the Cures live in some conservative town, and they all like honoring people and stuff. The main character, Kana, wants to be a doctor like her mom, but she's a kid and she's also a wimp. She meets Fumiko, who's really popular and is part of the school's student council, and they become friends pretty quickly. It makes Kana want to be part of the council, but she can't because it's full. She then meets Hanami, who's this great ice skater, but she's really self-centered. Then she meets Ayaka who's an athlete, and Kana likes her but she thinks she's too wimpy to hang out with her. She then meets this other girl, let's call her Jenny, who's just like Kana in every way, down to wanting to be a doctor. But then she gets trapped and her dream turns into a Yokunai. This makes Kana turn into Cure Hanakotoba and save her. Fumiko then turns into Cure Tori, Hanami turns into Cure Hikari, Misato turns into Cure Fushigi and Ayaka turns into Cure Jounetsu. Nanami joins later on as Cure Shinrin. They later have to face the real bad guy, Cure Kami (this is actually Cure Iridana), who's the most powerful in the galaxy, and Cure Hanakotoba defeats her and becomes the most powerful.

This is just a small starting point. I like it, but there's one problem... I'm too attached to the name Cure Birds. Like too much. Cure Shimmer is a pretty name too, but I have so many light-themed Cures that Cure Shimmer might be turned into something else.

Let's begin changing characters for the better!

Pink Cure

Picture: Mizuki Himeji

First, there's Kana Momokira, Cure Zenith. Kana's... not the most interesting character in the world. In fact, I keep forgetting she even exists. She'll probably get a full civilian rename, possibly to Kanon, and her personality would be less similar to Hana and more to Hikaru. Her voice will also be changed from Aika Kobayashi to Akina, who voices Kohane, Kii, and both girls from KARAKURI.

Her new name is Iroha, meaning colorful flower, and her new seiyuu is Akina, who voices Kii Saegusa and Kohane Azusawa.

Blue Cure

Picture: Saya Sasamiya

Next, there is Fumiko Aoyama, Cure Birds. The civilian name will be kept. The problem is the character is too much like one of the seiyuu's (Suzuko Mimori) characters, Umi Sonoda. Besides being "seitokaichou", Fumiko is a ripoff of Umi in every sense of the word, including name. I made a chibi design to get started with her changes, and her personality would probably be more Saaya Yakushiji-like.

If not, she's gonna be short and angry.

I'm going to give her the name Nanami Kiyomizu, meaning pure water of the seven seas. That means her powers will also change, from air to water. The name Fumiko Aoyama might see the light of day again, but not today. She will probably her seiyuu, Suzuko Mimori, who voices Umi Sonoda and Asumi Fuurin, but she'll do a higher voice for Nanami.

Yellow Cure

Picture: Yukiko Hirohara

The third is Hanami Kikuchi, Cure Shimmer. First off, she shares the same surname as the yellow Cure from Simple PreCure, but I like Hanami's name, so it might get a rename, it might not. Just don't make Hanami's power lighting. Second, Hanami is literally a fusion of Mari Ohara and Homare Kagayaki. And Hanami was made before I joined the Love Live fandom officially, so it's even worse! We already got a quick-learner but a smart alec in Sakuya and Queen Kitty, so maybe I'll make Hanami more like Homare, and maybe Kirara.

She will keep her seiyuu, Himika Akaneya, at least for now. Akaneya voices Laala Manaka and is part of i☆Ris.

I want her name to use the character "oto" (音), so here's what I found:

Kanon (夏音), meaning summer sound
Reo/Leo (玲音), meaning tinkling sound
Rone (楼音), meaning tower sound (like wedding bells?)
Watane (和音), meaning serene sound
Waon (羽音), meaning wing sound

I'm most likely gonna go with Kanon or Leo.

The name I'm going with is Leo Yukimine, meaning "tinkling sound at the fortunate peak".

Purple Cure

Picture: Chitose Karasuyama

Fourth is Misato Murata, Cure Mystère. Pretty much as boring as Kana. She is said to be edgier than Shadow the Hedgehog, but really, she's just a fusion of Shadow and Yuri Tsukikage who looks like a fusion of Zakuro and Chara with a hoodie. She's also trying to save her sister Misaki or something? Misato's name might change to Misa, but Misato is elder so who knows. And I'll probably make Misato more like Iona or Yukari than Yuri, being funnier ambiguous than serious ambiguous. With that, I might change her name. It's a fusion of Himeko Murata and Misato Katsuragi, and I'm not sure if that's what I wanna do with the character anymore.

I think I'll go with the surname "Otonashi" for this character. It means "soundless". The problem is there is a lot of anime characters with the surname, so I have to be careful.

Okay, I found a name for her, Misato Otonashi! It means "Silent, beautiful knowledge". For her Cure name, either Cure Fushigi or Cure Himitsu. Haven't decided.

Red Cure

Picture: Ako Suminoe

The fifth one is Ayaka Tanaka, Cure Phoenix... or Cure Remedy. Yeah, I changed Ayaka's Cure name to Cure Remedy in response to the Australia fires. It was for a good cost, but it was still a bad move, especially since after this, COVID-19 would release itself everywhere, making the fictional doctor entirely useless. Ayaka was extremely similar to Socca Fan from Generic Pretty Cure, though, and the type that Socca was making fun of was the energetic, rough girl who's obsessed with sports, like Nagisa, Saki, Rin, Hibiki, Akane, and probably Asuka despite predating the series by a landslide. I'll have to find better ways of treating her character better since I think she would be the most controversial of the six. Maybe a chaotic mix of Minami and Rin?

Due to how funny the name "Ayaka Tanaka" (colorful flower of the middle field) is to me (she's a red Cure and she has "aka" (meaning red) in her name twice, the peak of comedy here), Ayaka will probably be the only character who will keep her original name intact. The problem is, her name has the same meaning as Iroha, colorful flower, if you make the definition wrong, so if I wanna keep Ayaka's name completely intact, I have to not name the pink cure Iroha.

Sayaka Tanaka isn't taken (for the most part) so if you want to rename her to Sayaka, go ahead!

But there will be some things I want to do with her character. I'm gonna make her a jock again, and I'm gonna make her fiery, mostly because... a change as drastic as Ayaka's whole character can't happen within the span of a month in the real world. Long story.

So it's Ayaka vs Sayaka. Tanaka is a cute surname so I'm keeping that for one, but I have an Aikatsu OC named Mine Tanaka so there's an 80% chance I'm keeping the red Cure's surname.

Sixth Ranger

Picture: Yuna

Last but not least is Nanami Matsuoka, Cure Specter. She's based on Ciel (and my dislike of her at the time), but honestly, Nanami might be my favorite of the six in this development period. She can be like Ciel and Kotoha. That would be fun. My problem with her lies in her name: Cure Specter. Not only is that weird for a protagonist to have a spooky name like that, but it's also kinda repetitive, since the Spectral Pretty Cure already exists, and they're green. Nanami is required to get a cooler name since her name shows a Yakuza character and some weird results about dating and XXX.

Since I gave the name Nanami to the Blue Cure, the green Cure's name is now Noeru, or Noel, meaning "holy" in Japanese and "Christmas" in English. As such, expect her birthday to be on Christmas.

Her name might be Noel Suekane (未包), meaning "holy unpacked" or "Christmas unpacked", depending on how you use it. If I don't use the name Noel, her last name will probably be Kiseki (幾石) one of the meanings being "how many stones".

Cure Names

As I discussed, I've been wanting to rename the Cures as well as their Cure names. You know how HUGtto has all French Cure names (except for Cure Yell but I always call her Cure Aile)? And some of the other Cures kike Rouge, Aqua, Felice, Gelato, Chocolat, Soleil, Selene, and Fontaine have names that aren't common in English either? Yeah, Sparkly's gonna follow that, except there's one thing different. They will be the first Cures to have their Cure names be English and Japanese! Here are my ideas for Cure names,

  • For Iroha, the pink Cure, only one currently comes to mind: Cure Hanakotoba, meaning language of flowers. Iroha controls flowers.
  • For Nanami, the blue Cure, possibly Cure Mizu, meaning water.
  • For Leo, the yellow Cure, maybe Cure Hikari, Cure Utau, or Cure Kagayaki, meaning light, song, and sparkle respectively.
  • For Misato, the purple Cure, either Cure Fushigi or Cure Himitsu. One means mystery, one means secret. I forgot which one for who.
  • For (Sa/A)yaka, the red Cure, maybe Cure Jounetsu, meaning passionate.
  • For Noel, I'm thinking Cure Shinrin, meaning forest.

Gripe

Hey guys, what's up with people judging other people based on their skin color and/or ethnicity? That's pretty weird and it shouldn't really be like that. I've been noticing everything is like "white people this" and"white people that", but everyone else? Not really.

I really need to educate myself on racism because this is bonkers.

*tells everybody not to be racist and goes back to normal posting 5 minutes later thus contributing to the problem*

Sayuri Mori

Introduction

Sayuri Mori (森 さゆり) is the fifth and final Cure of the Pretty Cure group Happy Happy Pretty Cure! Her alter ego is Cure Seashell and her theme color is blue.

Personality

Sayuri is a girl who is very athletic and reads a lot about sports to get better at it. She has anger issues. Sayuri is Junko's older twin sister.

As the series is based on emojis, she is represented by the thumbs up emoji.

Production

Sayuri was originally made on July 3rd, 2015. Her original name was Ume Taiikukan, which sounds like a cool name on the surface, but it actually means "Gymnnasium plum". Her Pretty Cure alter ego was Cure Cheerleader and her theme color was bluebell.

Trivia

  • Sayuri's full name means "Small lily of the forest".
  • In the psuedo-remake "My Darling ♡ Pretty Cure", her name is Kirari Toriumi, which means "bird ocean sparkling blue". Her alter ego there is Cure Caeli, despite being water-themed.

Junko Mori

I first submitted this with the same sentence as Kaede, but I changed that.

Introduction

Junko Mori (森 順子) is the fourth Cure of the Pretty Cure group Happy Happy Pretty Cure! Her alter ego is Cure Terra and her theme color is green.

Personality

Junko is a girl that loves photography and wolves and indulges herself in those interests. She doesn't like talking to people unless it involves those topics. Sometimes she likes to pretend that she is a wolf.

As the series is based on emojis, she is represented by the wolf emoji.

Production

Junko was originally made on July 3rd, 2015. Her original name was Nyuumuun Mangetsu, meaning "Full moon new moon". Nyuumuun was gairaigo for the new moon. Her Pretty Cure alter ego was Cure Bush and her theme color was pine green.

Trivia

  • Junko's full name means "Obedient child of the forest". Ironic.
  • In the psuedo-remake "My Darling ♡ Pretty Cure", her name is Hirari Toriumi, which means "bird ocean butterfly".
  • Junko was named after Junko Enoshima, but they're nothing alike.

Kaede Ueda

I'm probably gonna make the other three Happy Happy girls' pages before anyone else, but after school because I need to do that.

Introduction

Kaede Ueda (上田 楓) is the third Cure of the Pretty Cure group Happy Happy Pretty Cure! Her alter ego is Cure Twirl and her theme color is yellow.

Personality

Kaede is the student council president of Setaka Girls' High School, and people fear her presence. But she has a pretty girly secret. She wants to be a ballerina, the best one there is. She wants to be a role model for young girls, and Pretty Cure was the only way she can express that.

As the series is based on emojis, she is represented by the heart emoji.

Production

Kaede was originally made on July 3rd, 2015. Her original name was Katsura Burashi, meaning "Brush wig". Yes, I'm serious. Her dream, instead of being a ballerina, was a hairstylist, hence the name. Her theme color was honey yellow.

Trivia

  • Kaede's full name means "Upper rice paddy maple tree". Honestly, I don't know why I chose the last name Ueda.
  • In the psuedo-remake "My Darling ♡ Pretty Cure", her name is Chise Takase, which means "red peak tenderness".
  • She looks pretty similar to Cure Rhythm, and they even fight in... kinda similar ways?
FOPC page: link

Misaki Kagome

I'm probably gonna make the other three Happy Happy girls' pages before anyone else, but after school because I need to do that.

Introduction

Misaki Kagome (籠目 岬) is the second Cure of the Pretty Cure group Happy Happy Pretty Cure! Her alter ego is Cure Blaze and her theme color is red.

Personality

Misaki is a calm and collected girl who's secretly obsessed with anime. She is usually bullied by the other kids, but the other girls stand up for her.

As the series is based on emojis, she is represented by the robot emoji.

Production

Misaki was originally made on July 3rd, 2015. Her original name was Shika Sutechi, meaning "Stich deer, her alter ego was Cure Treasure, and her theme color was sweet red. At one point, her Cure name was gonna be Cure Cinnamon.

Trivia

  • Misaki's full name means "Hexagon beautiful bloom"
  • In the psuedo-remake "My Darling ♡ Pretty Cure", her name is Yutaka Akamine, which means "red peak tenderness".

Mariko Itou

This is the first character bio of the wiki, so I think it makes sense to start the character bios off with Mariko Itou, my first ever Pretty Cure OC!

Introduction

Mariko Itou (伊藤 真理子) is the lead Cure of the Pretty Cure group Happy Happy Pretty Cure! Her alter ego is Cure Glitter and her theme color is pink.

Personality

Mariko is a girly girl who admires the aesthetic of France and the 1950's to the point of an obsession. She dreams of becoming a fashion designer alongside Riko Imasaki (as seen in Happy Happy Pretty Cure!: Mariko no Yume! Tetsudatte Moraemasu ka?). She comes from Shiramine, a small village in Japan, so she gets pretty excited to move to Setaka, which is also a village but way bigger.

As the series is based on emojis, she is represented by the cat emoji.

Production

Mariko was originally made on July 3rd, 2015, alongside the other five main Cures. Her original name was Wandaa Nichiyoubi, meaning "Sunday wonder", and her theme color was specifically tea pink. She originally had brown hair and green eyes, but it has changed to dark purple hair and light blue eyes, similar to Marinette Dupain-Cheng.

Mariko is definitely my favorite of the five girls.

Trivia

  • Mariko's full name means "Wisteria true village (child)"
  • In the psuedo-remake "My Darling ♡ Pretty Cure", her name is Yukiho Sakurai, which means "blossom well, helping step".
  • I think the name Keiko Nichiyoubi would fit her too.
