May is usually the month I forget about the most. The most vivid thing I can remember from this date is my high school graduation, with no close seconds.

Video Essay and Review YouTubers Making Alternative Channels to Sleep To

Pros:

• Money machine (because of watch time).
• Edited for sleep curation, better for people who legitimately sleep to the original channel.
• Literally just compilation videos but slightly edited. Not so different than second channels reserved for compilations and clips.
  
• Could give videos that didn't receive a good audience retention a second chance to thrive.
  

Cons:

• Money machine (because of watch time)
  
• Cheap gimmick. Definitely going to die as soon as it started.
  
• Could cause a third adpocalypse because of companies not wanting their ads in videos you're supposed to sleep to (I use an ad blocker so I don't know how much ads each video has but probably as much as a regular 8-hour video).
• Calling videos easy to sleep to can be devaluing to their own content. (though Caddicarus is doing this so it's definitely a 180)
• Costs more if you played one of those videos on a PC overnight rather than a non-charging handheld device. (that's a joke it's not a serious concern, these videos are not responsible for your bills)
  
• The DYKG Clips thumbnails specifically are using AI for some reason.
  
• According to one tweeter: "If you need this, you are genuinely a baby."
  

I hate this

It's not ch/rg/ng...

It's been wiggling in and out of ch/rg/ng for months and now since 7 PM it hasn't been at all. It's at 2%, I've tried multiple cables.

I actually got it to connect with my com/uter but it shows the lightning sign for half a second before saying it's not ch/rg/ng, despite the cable vibrating. Maybe it's because it's Super Speed?

Harassment with characters

I feel bad about what I think about Hinata Hiramitsu now because I never watched Healin’ Good to the point of seeing any episodes with her, so now the only thing I can think about when I see her is the time someone said they didn’t like her to the point of not wanting to see her and someone else harassing her with “TOO BAD FUCK YOU” with photos of Cure Sparkle.

If someone doesn’t want to see a character, don’t show them that character. And add a tag in the post if they ask for one (ex. // umi sonoda). I know it’s 2024 and tags and content warnings on social media are long gone, but it’s nice to do.

Sorry to go back to Hinata but I do want to know more about her. She’s probably the Cure I know least about in general, besides maybe Yuki. Or Ran. Not sure.

What if there was plush dolls that had different features exclusive to them like Novi Stars?

A couple months ago I saw a redesign of the Plushie Dreadfuls autism rabbit plush, but that redesign was made by a terrible, just terrible person. So I looked it up again to see what people said about it and I found this post by MistyWhiskerz which says, "we should design our own to fit our own needs, autism is a spectrum and we will all want different things".

So I thought of my own thing like that!

They're plush humans, like the Disney Princess dolls above, but they'd be original characters, and they'd have gimmicks like Novi Stars.

The toys would be appropriate for young kids, but not babies.

Possible characters

 

May, who has magnets on her hands and maybe even her cape.

She'd likely be the most controversial one to design.

 

 

Lisa, who would have beads on both her arms and legs. And her torso obviously so you can sit her down but I like the silly arms.

 

 

Cammy, who has a squeaker in her torso.

Not recommended for adults.

 

 

Jade, who has a crinkly dress and hair.

 

Manon, who has humanlike hair. It's long so you can style it to whatever you like.

 

Ellie, who is posable via wires.

 

Janey, who has flappy hair. Like five mochi minky strands of hair.

 

Yolanda, who has hard plastic, particularly her glasses.

Not sure if they will have lens or not.

Amy, who has twintails, and you can change the outfits of.

Either all the princesses can have interchangable outfits or only Amy.

I use light-skinned characters for the images here, but they won't all be light-skinned. In fact, there's a chance the characters can change skintones depending on who owns them. This is so you can a character with the same skintone as you but still has a certain gimmick.

A reminder:

 Israel is bombing Rafah but sure listen to Shinosawa Hiro and Kasturagi Lilia and analyze their MVs! It's not just going to the Met Gala, you can be distracted by Gakumas, or GummyGoo, or even schoolwork.

Sometimes I hear a banging song and I’m like why is it so good and then I hear Giga’s watermark and then I’m like oh yeah huh
