Bad News and Good News

 The bad news is:

  1. I had a Real Ghostbusters keychain and I accidentally ran my swivel chair over it. It snapped into two, but I put it back together. I can't use it anymore, though. This was yesterday.
  2. My dad got laid off the job he had for almost 10 years. I hope it's not karma because I asked him last year if he ever got laid off before and he said no.
  3. My procrastination is getting worse.

The good news is:

  • My VTuber is coming together! I got her Live2D lineart done. I am currently working on the flats.

Random thing

Reinstalled the Sims 4 again. Getting a lot of custom content.

Tried to install half of a Simmer's entire CC catalog on CurseForge, it was so annoying.

Found out CurseForge is owned by an Israeli company that directly donated to the IDF.

I... guess I won't have to deal with that again?

What AI should we worry about?

  1.  LLMs -  Standing for large language models, it scrapes from the Internet. It can be harmful for even public domain works. This includes ChatGPT, Sora AI, Google Gemini, Bing Copilot, Stable Diffusion, etc.
  2. Generative AI - Specifically the type that can generate writing, images, or audio without human intervention besides a prompt or source of images. Even a model that asked for all the data from all individual owners can be used for harm depending on its purpose. All examples for example 1 apply here too, but another example could be an AI dance generator, where you can generate how "someone" moves. Even if the data is consensual, it is extremely dangerous because it is considered deepfake technology.
  3. Androids - An android is an artificial being resembling a human (doesn't have to be a robot). Its primary function, first and foremost, is to replace humans in some way. There would be no need to make a human if it weren't to replace a career, a child, a friend, a romantic partner, etc.
  4. Robots that specifically have two dots and a curved line as a face - It's the trend. People who use this willy-nilly have no interest in you.

memes that died peacefully

I haven't seen hate for these memes, they just kinda died.

  • Movie theater-mushrooms-nuts-high school
  • Planet of the Bass
  • Lario
  • The Eight Crazy Nights replacement text meme
  • Goncharov (at least outside of Tumblr)
  • Possibly "I can't even watch when she touches his hair and I've watched a snake eat a cow" in the future
  • Little Miss ____ (some people were annoyed but I never seen it again after it died)
  • "I can't believe we're both goth and trans!"
  • D4DJ *death threats*/children die - at least outside of Roblox
  • Smurf Cat
  • Leaked 20XX memes
  • Giant moth that loves lamps

I'm guessing "America ya" will die peacefully, like the Azumanga memes which are currently dead. If it won't die peacefully, it will burn to the stake.

My thought on Ruth Bat-Seraph

They're not gonna get rid of her, nor her alter ego of Sabra. Changing the outfit is a guarantee, even a Zionist would call it cheesy, but on the off chance they got rid of her, Disney would get in big trouble, more so than if activists boycotted the movie. Starbucks lost $12 billion, McDonald's lost $1 million, but Disney? What will they lose? Will Elio be a flop? Will Lilo and Stitch be a flop? Even if Brave New World becomes a less successful movie than The Marvels, I believe Disney will not get rid of Sabra because it is more of a risk for them to get rid of her than not.

Note about the boycott, there are two main ones:

  • The Big Three Boycott, which calls for a boycott of McDonald's, Starbucks, and Disney.
  • The BDS boycott, which calls for a consumer boycott of 10+ different companies and Israeli produce, among other types of calls for action. They have Disney under a pressure campaign, not a direct boycott, but boycotting is encouraged when a reasonable alternative exists.
  • But, while it's not in the primary boycott list, they have called on a boycott of Marvel because of the new Captain America movie until they remove Ruth Bat-Seraph/Sabra from the film.
  • It seems easy for many people when it comes to the MCU, but it does mean you have to boycott Beyond the Spider-Verse.

Aesthetics and the categorization of women

I saw a TikTok video that says that modern "aesthetics" are like porn tags in that they categorize women for the purpose of commodification. They not only promote a certain aesthetic, but also a certain personality, face shape, body type, etc. The sexualization of women can be seen in names like Mob Wife and Office Siren. The words wife and siren can play into men's temptations, even if that's not the intent of the aesthetics' creators. While not in the video, it can be compared to the "dere" types of anime, like tsundere (aloof/lovey-dovey), yandere (sick/lovey-dovey), dandere (silent/lovey-dovey), himedere (princess/lovey-dovey), etc.

With Recent News

As of February 5, 2024, with the events regarding ANYCOLOR (NIJISANJI) and Selen Tatsuki, I have made a decision that I will be no longer supporting NIJISANJI.

With the termination of Selen Tatsuki, ANYCOLOR has shown unprofessional behavior and no care to their talents.

Another line that sticks out in the Termination Notice is "Despite our efforts, Selen Tatsuki demanded that ANYCOLOR should be held legally responsible. She claimed that she was no longer able to engage in her activities as a Liver due to the decisions of ANYCOLOR, was being harassed by affiliated Livers due to mismanagement, etc., while refusing to acknowledge her responsibility for violating the activity rules." These rules relate to third-party and copyright infringement and posting content to her channel too early. This shows that NIJISANJI will sweep important issues under the rug and care more about their public reputation. The mention of being harassed by "affiliated Livers" also throws other VTubers, not just Selen, under the bus.

I called my following action a boycott previously, but people are saying not to use that specific word because it will clog up conversation for the boycotts of companies that promote genocide and instead support countries like Palestine, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Sudan, etc. I'm dumb and don't know if it's only for social media or IRL as well but to be safe, just don't call a boycott period.

I don't think there's an alternative word, so instead I will be straightforward: I will not be buying merchandise from NIJISANJI. I also unsubscribed from all the NIJISANJI EN channels, and will likely be doing the same to the JP/ID talents I follow. This will remain until the problem is remedied.

If I had 10,000 dollars...

I would probably conduct a SynthV chorus where I made all the women sing whatever I want. And I would also buy music production material an...
