Personal news

• We got 2 snow days in a row for the first time in years, maybe decades. So much snow.
• I did not post this October, making it the first month I've ignored this blog.
• These 3 hour movies my film class is giving me is giving me Natsumeki Pain - At least they're only giving us 1 movie per week instead of 2. I almost watched Das Boot and West Side Story back to back but had to stop at West Side Story's intermission just because my Gen Z attention span ran too thin. Combined, those two movies are six hours, I believe. 3 and a half hours and 2 and a half hours respectively. But that's gone, I only have 1 3 hour movie and a StudioBinder collection this week.
  
• I am less active on the Fandom of Pretty Cure Wiki, but if I come back, I think I might rename Jiyuu Spirit Precure back to Jiyuu! Precure and give Renka a page.
• Carol's Live2D form was revealed on YouTube but nobody saw it - but her REAL Live2D form is coming soon!

This week's movie I'm watching, by the way, was the worst one to try to watch last minute. I have 12 hours left to watch the movie in its entirety (the movie is 3 hours long). And it's not a fun ride. Very distressing. Very sad. If you want a hint of what it's about, it's about the ramifications of abuse.

Why do people always have to be cancelled?

Sakuya Posey is in a cheating scandal, you're either Team Sakuya or Team Motoi and I can't get into the start of it because I know nothing about romance. And I know it's not a excuse! It's not a fucking excuse, nor a viable reason! It's not "pick a side and personally comfort the person you choose and white knight for them", it's "hey, you need to be aware of this cheating scandal and you NEED to form an opinion on it and come to your own conclusion. you don't need to do it right now, but you need to do it eventually." All I will say is I have no opinion because I haven't read the story, but prior to this, I was less of a Motoi Hirai fan than a Sakuya Posey fan.

Sakuya can probably get away with it but Hibari Hanami is probably mega-cancelled. Forever. No coming back. I also gotta get into the details of it but I'm scared because Hibari's my favorite of any member of a J-Pop girl duo, let alone of Midnight Cats.

Social media detox

It has become increasingly clear that I need to delete TikTok.

Sure, it's probably because it's gone to a point where my FYP has gone completely unbalanced with what my actual interests are, but I do think I need to do something.

You have to choose between riding a boat or staying with your friends.

• Fight the friends (or the boat captain)
• Run away so you don't go on the boat but avoid your friends
• Freeze and choose neither (albeit if you freeze long enough you get the option of staying with your friends)

You get bubblegum stuck in your hair while walking.

• Fight the students but risk getting in trouble
• Run away and risk looking like a dork and inciting extra harassment
• Freeze (but you didn't realize your bully had a bubblegum gun)

You find out your product didn't sell well at a business meeting

• Fight the marketing manager
• Run away from the meeting, likely in tears
• Freeze (the most realistic response)

You're ten minutes late to class

• Fight the clock so time would warp back to normal
• Run away and drive home
• Freeze and don't get in your seat or learn anything

There's a grease fire

• Fight the fire with your fists
• Run away even though it is possible for you to turn off the stove
• Freeze and don't run at all
